Let’s get started
Today we will explore ask a story question through play. Grown-ups can model it first; children can respond by pointing, moving, speaking, or drawing. There is no speed test.
Learn together
- Watch together: Ask who, what, or where about a read-aloud.
- Try it as a team: Retell or predict in your own words. Pause, repeat and let the child lead.
- Try once more in a new way: Look at the pictures as your grown-up reads. Celebrate the attempt, not perfect results.
