Who this service is for
CowScreamsMoo provides parent-supervised learning for young children. Parents create and manage the family account and student profiles. Children should use the service with the knowledge and involvement of a parent or guardian.
Information associated with your account
The service uses parent and child usernames, profile names, selected grade, country/state choices, authentication information, lesson assignments, work, scores, and progress to provide the classroom and resume learning. Parents may choose a narration gender and, optionally, a device-specific speech voice name. Signup does not require an email address. Technical records needed for security, troubleshooting, and reliable operation may also be processed.
How information is used
Account data supports sign-in, parent assignment controls, lesson progress, grading and reports, recovery, abuse prevention, and service maintenance. Voice playback uses available speech capabilities on the current browser or operating system. Installed voices can differ across devices. Browser and device providers may have their own data-handling practices.
Children's information
Parents control student credentials and lesson choices. Student work is associated with the corresponding family account rather than presented as a public child profile. Parents should not place sensitive identifying information in free-form homework responses. Parents may request account deletion using the account controls; deletion cannot be reversed after completion, subject to any legally required retention.
Cookies and technical storage
The service uses session credentials and browser storage for sign-in and limited interface state. Browsers may retain ordinary cached assets. Access and error logs may capture information such as request times, network addresses, and browser details to help detect problems and maintain security. Third-party browser features and embedded resources may operate under their own policies.
Access, retention, and safety
Parents can manage learner accounts and review associated learning records through their authenticated account. The service retains information as needed to operate accounts and meet legitimate security or legal obligations. No internet service can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted availability. Do not share recovery keys or student PINs publicly.
