Use time words

I can tell about morning, afternoon, evening, and nighttime routines.

Let’s get started

Today we will explore use time words through play. Grown-ups can model it first; children can respond by pointing, moving, speaking, or drawing. There is no speed test.

Learn together

  1. Watch together: Tell about morning, afternoon, evening, and nighttime routines.
  2. Try it as a team: Use the word when talking to someone. Pause, repeat and let the child lead.
  3. Try once more in a new way: Listen to the word in a sentence. Celebrate the attempt, not perfect results.
