Pre-K · Week 35 · Sound Play

Hear all the sounds in me

I can stretch 'me' slowly and listen to the beginning and end.

Let’s get started

Today we will explore hear all the sounds in me through play. Grown-ups can model it first; children can respond by pointing, moving, speaking, or drawing. There is no speed test.

Learn together

  1. Watch together: Stretch 'me' slowly and listen to the beginning and end.
  2. Try it as a team: Repeat the sound in a playful game. Pause, repeat and let the child lead.
  3. Try once more in a new way: Listen to the sound first. Celebrate the attempt, not perfect results.
